The biggest project was the massive Kingsway Business Park site off the M62 Junction 21. Here 11 historic farms and weavers cottages were archaeologically recorded prior to demolition, and a similar number of trial trenching schemes were undertaken to examine the origins of farm sites in this medieval and early post-medieval landscape. Another big scheme was the 30 turbine wind farm proposal at Scout Moor which considerable archaeological involvement.
